Committee members are the leading experts in the field who provide guidance in the development of the curriculum and consumer messages. Members help to ensure that all educational and training materials, regardless if they are intended for dental or medical providers, or consumers, have the same consistent, standardized key messages, and that they promote the oral health of young children, birth to 5 years of age, including those with disabilities and other special needs. The Scientific Advisory Committee is comprised of nationally-acclaimed faculty, researchers, community representatives, special needs experts, dental providers and primary care physicians.
